Overview

Novartis is undergoing a major transformation, shifting from a product-centric to a customer-centric strategy. As part of this shift, the NovartisPRO platform will be launched, consolidating information about Novartis’ therapeutic areas, products, and news for doctors. Within NovartisPRO, the neurosciences section, currently branded as NeuroHOUSE, will evolve into NeuroPRO, requiring a complete redesign of its logo and visual identity.

The Brief

To design a new logo for NeuroPRO that aligns with the new Novartis brand guidelines and reflects its integration into the broader NovartisPRO platform. The logo should convey a fresh, modern identity while maintaining consistency with Novartis’ corporate design ethos.

The resulting NeuroPRO logo, where the brain shapes the letter "N," is a visual expression that blends science and humanity. The brain, representing the core focus on neurosciences, seamlessly integrates into the letter "N,". It visually connects the medical expertise with the patient-centric approach that Novartis is embracing through this brand transformation. The brain as part of the logo reflects not only the therapeutic areas it covers but also the deeper understanding and care for neurological conditions.

The concept of "Echoes of Relief" shaped the art direction by infusing the brand with a sense of hope and future well-being. The ripples, subtly incorporated into the visual elements, represent the ongoing impact of Novartis’ commitment to comprehensive support for patients dealing with multiple sclerosis and migraines. These "echoes" symbolize more than immediate relief—they embody the long-term promise of symptom management and a better quality of life. The logo's clean and calming design, reinforced by this concept, conveys trust, security, and tranquility, projecting a brighter, more secure future for both patients and healthcare professionals alike. In essence, the art direction, guided by "Echoes of Relief," ensures that the NeuroPRO brand resonates with its mission: to not only provide relief but to offer a ripple effect of lasting care and well-being.
